Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
1. Overview
Dick.com ("we," "us," or "the Platform") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information. By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Dick.com is designed with privacy in mind. Because payments are made directly wallet-to-wallet via the x402 protocol, we never have access to your financial accounts, credit card numbers, or banking information.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide (Creators Only)
When you create a Creator account, we collect:
- Email address
- Password (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash — we cannot read your password)
- Channel name (your chosen slug)
- Wallet address (for receiving payments)
- Optional: contact email, social media URLs, offline message, next broadcast time
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:
- IP address and general geographic location
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on the Platform
- Referring URLs
- Stream status events (live/offline transitions)
2.3 Blockchain Data
All payments made through the Platform are recorded on the Base blockchain, which is a public ledger. Wallet addresses and transaction amounts are publicly visible on the blockchain. Dick.com does not control this data and cannot delete or modify blockchain records.
2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect from Viewers
Viewers are not required to create accounts. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information from Viewers. The only information associated with a Viewer is their public wallet address, which is used solely to process the payment transaction.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your Creator account;
- To send you account-related emails including your stream key, welcome information, and password reset links;
- To operate and maintain the streaming infrastructure;
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service;
- To communicate with you about platform updates, security notices, or support matters;
- To comply with legal obligations;
- To improve the Platform and user experience.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.
4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 Service Providers
We share limited information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform:
- Cloudflare Stream — for live video delivery infrastructure. Cloudflare processes stream metadata including stream status.
- Supabase — for database hosting. Creator account data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure.
- Resend — for transactional email delivery. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for the purpose of sending you platform emails.
- Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) — for payment verification via the x402 protocol. Payment transaction data is processed by Coinbase's facilitator service.
- Vercel — for web application hosting. Standard web traffic data is processed by Vercel.
4.2 Public Information
The following information is publicly visible on Dick.com:
- Your channel name and channel page (dick.com/yourname)
- Your offline message and next broadcast time (if set)
- Your contact email and social media links (if provided)
- Your stream pricing and pricing model
- Your live/offline status
Your wallet address is used internally to route payments but is not displayed publicly on your channel page.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dick.com, our users, or the public. This includes mandatory reporting of child exploitation material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities.
5. Data Retention
We retain Creator account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal compliance purposes. Blockchain transaction records cannot be deleted as they are permanently recorded on the public Base blockchain.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing — we cannot read your password;
- All data transmission is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS;
- Database access is restricted to authorized personnel only;
- API keys and sensitive credentials are stored as encrypted environment variables.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
7. Cookies and Tracking
Dick.com uses minimal cookies necessary for the operation of the Platform, including session cookies for Creator dashboard authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We do not participate in cross-site tracking.

11. California Privacy Rights
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.
